2. who does not have a residence or occupation in India

1. Foreigners visiting India for the sole purpose of seeking medical treatment in hospitals / treatment centres in India

For the period of treatment or up to 1 year, whichever is less

1. All documents as in Para 6 above 2. Confirmation from recognized hospital/ treatment centre in India which has offered treatment for the applicant. A copy of the letter should be e-mailed to the Embassy at cons[dot]malabo[at]mea[dot]gov[dot]in
3.. Reference from local doctor/hospital who has referred the applicant for seeking treatment in India

Business (B)
|
1. Foreigners visiting India to establish an industrial/business venture or to explore possibilities for business venture in India 2. Foreigners visiting India to purchase/sell industrial, consumer or commercial products 3. Foreigners visiting India for technical meetings, board meetings of the company held in India 4. Foreigners who are partners in the business with Indian companies 5. Foreigners visiting India to attend trade fairs/exhibitions, etc.

Business Visa is non- convertible and non-extendable beyond 5 years from the date of issue.

2. Letter of Introduction from parent company indicating the name of the applicant, purpose and duration of the proposed visit
3. Letter of Invitation from Indian company with which the applicant/his/her company has business dealings. A copy of the letter should be e-mailed to the Embassy at cons[dot]malabo[at]mea[dot]gov[dot]in
4. Photocopy of the local business registration, Tax Clearnace Certificate in respect of the applicant/company
5. Proof of financial standing and expertise in the field of intended business 6. Bill of lading, Airway Bill, customs duty, payment receipts for people who have visited India previous for importation of goods.

Student (S)
|
Foreigners going to India for the sole purpose of pursuing regular and full time academic studies
|
Duration of the study or maximum 5 years, whichever is less.
|
1. All documents as in Para 6 above
2. Proof of admission in recognised educational institution in India. A copy of the letter should be e-mailed to the Embassy by at cons[dot]malabo[at]mea[dot]gov[dot]in
3. College affiliation papers and UGC/AICTE approval and approval for course (A copy of the letter should be e-mailed to the Embassy by at cons[dot]malabo[at]mea[dot]gov[dot]in)
4. Proof of finance (letter of support from the parent / guardian accompanied by a bank guarantee)
5. Bank Statement of sponsor
6. Attestation of Certificates by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Research (R )
|
Foreigners going to India for the sole purpose of pursuing research studies in India
|
Duration of the study or maximum 5 years, whichever is less.
|
1. All documents as in Para 6 above
2. Proof of admission in recognised educational institution in India. A copy of the letter should be e-mailed to the Embassy at cons[dot]malabo[at]mea[dot]gov[dot]in

6. Synopsis of Research Study

Missionary (M)
|
1. Foreigners going to India for the sole purpose of missionary work not involving proselytization 2. Who is not visiting India to work in border or tribal areas or restricted / protected areas. 3. Visa will not be grated to preachers and evangelists visiting India on propaganda campaigns.

2. Sponsorship letter from the foreign missionary society concerned in India. A copy of the letter should be e-mailed to the Embassy at cons[dot]malabo[at]mea[dot]gov[dot]in

Journalist (J)
|
1. Foreign professional journalists assigned for work in India. 2. Journalists going to India for tourism, meeting relatives, etc. are also granted ‘J’ visa

|

2. Sponsorship letter from the media agency in India. A copy of the letter should be e-mailed to the Embassy by at cons[dot]malabo[at]mea[dot]gov[dot]in
3. Introduction letter from the media agency for which working
4. Employment contract in case of going to India to be stationed in India as correspondent of foreign media based in India

Conference (C )
|
Foreigners visiting India to attend conference/seminar or workshop

2. Invitation from organizers of the conference / workshop / seminar
3. Introduction letter from the parent organization of the applicant
4. A copy of clearance from Ministry of External Affairs and Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India and concerned Ministry/Body holdinga the conference

Sports (Entry-X)
|
1. Foreign teams / sports persons to participate in sports events / competitions in India 2. Members of foreign sports bodies for attending meetings in India

1.Holders of Diplomatic Passports going to India for official purposes 2. Equatoguinean nationals holding diplomatic/ official/service passports are exempted from obtaining visa for a stay up to 90 days
